White House Social Secretary Amy Zantsinger explains preparations for the state visit of Queen Elizabeth of England

In May of 2007, Queen Elizabeth II visited the White House, and White House Social Secretary Amy Zantsinger worked on the preparations. In this interview five days before the Queen’s visit, she describes the processes for creating the guest list for a state dinner and also discusses how they arrive at menu decisions. She says, “This state visit is special because it is the Queen. Everyone loves the Queen and everyone is fascinated by the Queen."
